CDL-A Specialized Truck Driver Positions Open Now – local and OTR runs!
Southern Pines Trucking, Inc., a specialized motor carrier which hauls everything from steel coils to rockets and weapon systems, is currently seeking experienced CDL-A company drivers for our Specialized/Heavy Haul division for local and OTR positions. Endorsements depending on freight type but may include: HAZMAT, Tank, Doubles and Triples. As a true “Transportation Specialist” within our specialized fleet, you’ll have great earning power with salary positions available.
Southern Pines Trucking CDL-A Truck Driver Opportunities Include:
Specialized
- Annual salary of $60,000-$105,000
- Salary is based on driving experience, home time requirements, and safe driving history
- Out 1-3 weeks (depending on home location), home for 2-4 days
- $4,000 sign-on bonus, certain conditions and criteria apply
- Lanes primarily in Midwest and East coast
- Commodities: Steel, steel-making equipment, oil and gas equipment, heavy machinery, prefabricated buildings, rockets, weapon systems, aircraft, etc.
CDL-A Specialized Truck Driver requirements:
- Class A CDL
- 1 year experience with flatbed steel coil (exceptions may apply)
- TWIC Card (required within first 3 months). Costs will be reimbursed.
- Endorsements depending on freight type. May include: HAZMAT, Tank, Doubles and Triples.
- HAZMAT renewal costs will be reimbursed once driver successfully completes all requirements and becomes HAZMAT certified
- DOT drug test and pre-employment hair screen
- Canadian Eligible preferred
