Southern Pines Trucking has a home daily opportunity in Gary, Indiana, for experienced heavy haul drivers. This is a steady, long-term position with consistent hours and benefits, including additional work opportunities within the company. Operate specialized equipment to move ladles in and out of a local steel mill.
Local Heavy Haul Truck Driver:
- Pay Range: $23-$25 per hour based on experience
- OT after 40 is time and a half
- Home daily!
- All moves are accompanied by an escort vehicle.
- Trucks are equipped with Allison automatic transmissions.
- Hourly pay with overtime after 40 hours.
- Monday- Saturday
Local Heavy Haul Truck Driver Requirements:
- Must be able to commute to Gary, IN.
- Valid CDL-A.
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
- Heavy haul/specialized load experience is preferred.
